what is it you see

you told me i have that look
a look that could easily trick
even the wisest king;
a look that could easily change
when blown by the wind.

i asked you what is it you see
but you said the sun glowed
and i mutated into radiance;
i was then in tune with none
leaving everything to chance.

the laughs you hear are empty;
a vacuum of pains and misery.
all the time i thought,
delivering all my lines
was all that i sought.

i celebrated amidst the surrender.
the toasts and cheers were merry.
but here i am with what you are;
everyone’s world is joyously spinning,
while i still am waiting for a wishing star.

About walangmalay

Walang Malay is a figment of sentiments, of wonders and perplexities, of ideologies and dreams, of anything about something. Ako ito, walang malay... o nawalan ng kamalayan...
